Studio 13 Custom Ink is a dream by tattoo artist Hunter Vaughn, me. My dream is to be able to turn the clients idea for their next tattoo into a beautiful peice of insane artwork that will shock and amaze every set of eyes that catch a glimpse of it, and to perfectly translate the simple description into a peice that will still remind you why it's there years and years down the road when the memory would've been long forgotten, but never will be, because every time you see it you get the same feeling that motivated the trip to my shop in the first place. My first time running a machine actually happened because, my girlfriend and I, were planning on getting matching tattoos and the artist waaaayyyyy over priced it and was booked up solid for over 3 weeks. I just googled 'how to make a tattoo gun' and it was on. That was in 2014, now it's 2019 I've lost count of the peices I've done, have multiple tattoo kits, multiple return clients, I got an apprenticeship for free, quit the apprenticeship because I couldn't stop tattooing for 2 years, it was already paying my bills, and I have a business plan. Studio 13 doesn't have a location yet, it technically doesn't even exist. All I did was put my name and number on a business card under the big old English letters, Studio 13. I plan to open the shop this year, 2019. Nothing fancy at first, just a location that isn't my kitchen.
